Documentation@Ariba

The biggest question Ariba's documentation team faced in the fall of 2006 was: How to move our massive amount of documentation out of hardcopy books (or PDFs), and onto a web site? And how to make that website match up naturally with our newly hosted ('shared service' / 'online' / 'web application') software?

Being the youngest and most technical member of our documentation team, I became the person responsible for communicating from the writers, to the technical team who was creating the new documentation website (some of whom were in India), and the ops team who would manage and deploy the completed documentation website.

My boss at the time, the delightful Stephanie Schoch, was extremely pleased with me, since, seeing the need and knowing that I was the most qualified, I took on the duties of my own initiative.
